SAP HCM compensation options through vouchers in times of the Corona Pandemic

In the Corona Pandemic, remuneration through vouchers is a possible alternative to paying out the Corona premium.

Here is an implementation option:

Sample wage types: MX10 (one-off net commitment), M725 (canteen net deduction), M445 (corona bonus)

Scheme: DWB0

Infotype: 0015 (additional payment)

In the example, the model wage types MX10 and M725 were copied to the customer-specific name range.

MX10 -> 9565 (one net voucher)

M725 -> 9566 (one net voucher abz)

The aim should be that wage type 9565 records the net voucher amount and extrapolates it to a gross amount. This can become important if you have already exhausted the possible EUR 1.500,00 Corona bonus. The net amount of the voucher is then deducted from the transfer using wage type 9566.

The gross amount is extrapolated automatically when using the model wage type or a copy of it. When using the Corona bonus model wage type, an extrapolation is not required, since this tax and SI is granted free of charge. This extrapolation is carried out for all wage types with cumulation 16.

In order for the voucher to be deducted from the transfer, the amount from wage type 9565 must be transferred to deduction wage type 9566. To do this, we created the rule ZGUT and inserted it into the schema DWB0, in which additional payments and deductions from infotypes 0014 and 0015 are imported. It makes sense to copy the schema DWB0 into the customer's own namespace.

Recording the wage type

The vouchers can now be entered individually in infotype 0015. A new data record with wage type 9565 is created for this purpose.

If the tax-free Corona bonus is to be paid by voucher, the ZGUT rule must also be adjusted for this wage type.

Output on the remuneration statement with the Corona bonus in November and a goods voucher subject to tax and SV in December
