Derive cost components in SAP: Error in the derivation of cost components based on the previous year

Initial situation:

On the basis of the previous year's remuneration, a new cost component is to be derived as a percentage using a scenario. This derivation is based on the basic cost component in infotype 0666 (planning of personnel costs) from the previous year.

As soon as the base cost component is split and contains different amounts, only the last value is used for the calculation.

Example: Cost components from the previous year Error SAP

Basic customizing in the table T77HCP_DPCI (Edit dependent and additional cost items)

The costs for the derived cost component are only calculated using the last data record in infotype 0666 (Planning Personnel Costs).

The error has now been corrected by SAP and will probably be delivered in Note 2330682. The notice has not yet been released.

Error in the 2nd derivation of cost components whose basis is in the previous year

Initial situation:

If a cost component is derived from the previous year, cost components that have already been derived are no longer derived after the first derivation. So the 1nd level of the derivation.

For example:

If a cost component is derived from the previous year, cost components that have already been derived are no longer derived after the first derivation. So the 1nd level of the derivation.

Basic customizing in table T77HCP_DPCI (Edit Dependent and Additional Cost Items)

The cost component One-time payment individual goals is in turn the basis for further cost components, in particular for the cost component One-time payment individual goals (1/12), which distributes the original cost component over 12 months.

The elements shown above, i.e. the first derivation, are formed correctly in the cost planning run.

The second derivation, on the other hand, is completely ignored and is not taken into account in the cost planning run.

A test has shown that if the previously derived cost component One-time payment individual goals (1/12) is edited directly in infotype 0666 (planning personnel costs), the 2nd derivation works.

An example illustrates this:

In the month 03/2017 the cost component One-time payment individual goals derived in the month 10/2017, but edited directly in infotype 0666 (planning personnel costs).

The error has now been corrected by SAP and will probably be delivered in Note 2345345. The notice has not yet been released.
