How is AI represented in SuccessFactors?

  • It provides insight into a person's development journey and highlights their progress, achievements and areas for improvement 
  • As learners successfully complete their learning activities, assessments and new attributes are updated in their growth portfolio 

Attributes Library 

  • The Attribute Library is a central hub that consolidates all attribute types selected for use in SAP SuccessFactors 
  • It meets both individual and organizational requirements 
  • It allows you to create attributes and attribute types, configure performance scales, and view rating history 

Skills Ontology 

  • The Skill Inferencing System analyzes employee interactions in the source system 
  • Identifies skills relevant to the employee's interests 
  • Sends the derived competency data to the Talent Intelligence Hub to search for exact matches in the Attributes Library 

Job Analyzer 

The SAP SuccessFactors Job Analyzer is a tool designed to help create the best possible job description by providing salary and language recommendations 

The main features of the Job Analyzer tool include: 

  • Gender bias scan: This section of the Job Analyzer tool allows you to evaluate the language used in the job description based on a score. He also suggests alternatives to avoid gender-related terms in the job description 
  • salary section: The Salary Benchmark section of the Job Analyzer tool makes it possible to get a general understanding of the salary information you have entered in the job description 
  • Recommended skills: This section of the Job Analyzer tool allows to identify or highlight the relevant and irrelevant skills detected in the job description through machine learning

Career Explorer 

The SAP SuccessFactors Career Explorer tool is powered by machine learning and recommends career opportunities to employees based on the career paths of people who have similar careers in the organization. 

Career Explorer's main features include: 

  • Recommendation of career opportunities: Career Explorer analyzes employee data and uses it to train machine learning. If there is enough qualified data, employees receive job role recommendations on the Career Explorer 
  • Career Path Explorer: For a recommended role, you can expand the map to explore a career path in a family tree diagram and view job profiles and recommendation reasons 
  • Personalized recommendations: Employees can add the role to the Career Workbook to conduct a personal skills gap analysis, or decline the role to further personalize subsequent recommendations

Job Description Generator 

The Job Description Generator from SAP SuccessFactors supports you in generating job descriptions. It uses Generative AI to make salary and language recommendations. This tool can be used to enhance and generate job descriptions based on the job description fields configured in the Metadata Framework Objects. After improving the job description with AI, the current and generated descriptions are displayed side by side, making comparison easier. The generated job description can be accepted or rejected after review, and the job description can be regenerated after updating the information in the job description fields.
