What is Opportunity Marketplace?
The Opportunity Marketplace is a platform that shows your employees internal opportunities for projects, temporary assignments, training, job rotation and mentoring programs. Your employees can discover offers that correspond to their personal skills and interests. In addition, project managers can find the most talented employees for their projects. And at the same time it helps you as a company to promote the internal mobility of your employees.

- By taking advantage of learning opportunities, your employees can educate themselves and prepare for future career opportunities.
- By browsing open positions in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting's internal job market, employees can discover opportunities that match their strengths and thus move them closer to their goals.
- The task function allows supervisors to find qualified talent in the company. Your employees can also use the task function to complete joint tasks, learn new skills or work together in a targeted manner.
- By participating in mentoring programs, your employees can have one-on-one meetings to get help or even help others to develop themselves.
- By adding target roles, your employees receive transparency about interesting career opportunities and can achieve their professional goals in a familiar workplace - in your company.
How does the Opportunity Marketplace work?
The Opportunity Marketplace uses technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to recommend suitable offers to your employees. Content and information from the modules Performance & Goals, Succession & Development, Learning Management and Employee Central are used.
Users with the appropriate permissions can create additional "opportunities" in the Opportunity Marketplace and then publish them.
The offers created are grouped into different sections and are presented on tiles.
Many Opportunity Marketplace functions can already be used in the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile App (iOS & Android).
What are the requirements for using the Opportunity Marketplace?
To be able to use the Opportunity Marketplace, the Job Profile Builder and Role-Based Permissions (RBP) must be activated. The activation takes place in the provisioning, as well as the migration to the new structures - as an implementation partner, we are happy to take care of this for you.
Please note that activation and use of the Opportunity Marketplace requires a separate license.
