Errors in the derivation and allocation of various cost components

Error in the derivation and allocation of cost components if the plan option "Consider dates outside of planning period and organizational unit" is set and the staffing percentage is < 100%

Initial situation:

A base cost component that does not come from the previous year is to be distributed over 12 months in a derived cost component. In addition, the occupation percentage of the person in question is <100%.

In the month of origin, the dependent cost component is correctly calculated on the reduced basic component (see table below). In the remaining months, the dependent cost component is reduced again by the staffing share.

The following example illustrates the problem. The cost element 14th salary (holiday pay) is to be divided over 12 months into the cost element 14th salary (holiday pay) (1/12). In order not to issue increased costs, the cost component 14. Salary (vacation pay) Neg CO is assigned a negative value in the month of payment. The occupation percentage is 80%.

As can be seen, the correct value is only issued in the month of payment (444,00 / 12 = 37,00 euros). The value 444,00 is the original value (555,00 * 0,80) minus the occupancy percentage. An incorrect value is output in the other months. Here 37,00 euros x 0,80 (%) are determined (29,60 euros).

The result:

Calculation error in SAP HCM personnel cost planning; Cost components SAP HCM; Allocation of cost components SAP HCM; Global personnel cost planning with SAP HCM
