The need
In May 2018, the EU data protection regulation (EU-DSGVO) came into force and has thus become applicable law in all EU member states.
According to Chapter 3 Article 15, data subjects have the "right to information" about the personal data concerning them.
Violations of the EU-DSGVO can be punished with up to 4% of the worldwide annual turnover of the previous financial year.
